The Notilyze Cloud Admin Dashboard Keeps Evolving: Empowering users with more visibility, control, and usability in SAS Viya environments

Last year, we launched the Notilyze Cloud Admin Dashboard: a self-service solution that empowers our customers giving them full visibility and control of their SAS Viya environment. But we do not stop there. We keep refining and growing, all in pursuit of your empowerment.

With the dashboard, SAS Administrators can:

• Instantly see the state of each service, as each square or list item represents one SAS Viya service.
  
  
• Click to view detailed logs, understand what is going on, and download them for deeper analysis.
  
  
• Restart individual workloads directly, or the entire environment. 

All of this comes automatically included in our Notilyze Cloud standard package. No extra installation, no extra cost. It saves our clients time, and it saves us time too. Something that we considered a true win–win.

What are the updates?

At Notilyze, innovation doesn’t stop once a product is launched. It evolves.

We keep improving the Cloud Admin Dashboard based on our users’ needs. The latest release introduces several new updates focused on usability, insight, and control.

• Compute Sessions: Filter by User Name.
  

The new filter compute sessions by user name feature allows users to quickly zoom in on sessions of specific users. Especially useful when many sessions are running at once or when many users start compute sessions.

This helps teams identify which user started a compute session, troubleshoot faster, and keep their environments running efficiently.

• Nodes: Storage Insights.

One frequently requested insight is current storage utilization.  

With the new storage insights functionality, customers can now visualize folder and file sizes, as well as the overall storage usage of their SAS environment, all at a glance.

This makes it easy to identify large files and folders, free up space, and workload placement across the environment.

• Workloads: Search and more detailed.

We’ve enhanced the Workloads section to give users easier navigation through search, and show more details on individual deployments in the list view.

The dashboard now shows replicas of a service if there are more than one, making it much easier to understand the current system state.

A refreshed design for a smoother experience.

A cleaner design has been implemented, leading to more user-friendly interface.

Beyond the new functionalities, the entire Cloud Admin Dashboard has received a cleaner, more user-friendly interface.
