One of the most significant developments is a lower starting point for SAS environments. Traditionally, SAS cloud deployments require a high baseline of resources, often forcing organizations to over-provision just to get started. With the updated machine portfolio, Notilyze Cloud now allows SAS environments to start smaller: customers can start from a 4 core SAS Analytics Pro or SAS Viya compute environment. Giving organizations an accessible, affordable entry point. Teams can scale smoothly as their workloads grow, without sacrificing stability or performance. 

A Sizing Model Based on Real SAS Usage 

The updated machine portfolio reflects how SAS environments are used in practice and introduces more granular sizing to better match real workload needs. 

This new approach provides greater flexibility for both SAS Analytics Pro and SAS Viya: 

• SAS Analytics Pro: Machine typesare now available with 4, 8, 12, and 16 cores. The addition of 4 and 12 cores enables smaller, cost-efficient development, testing, and mid-scale production workloads allowing organizations to begin smaller and scale when required. 
  
  
• SAS Viya: Environments can be configured with CAS and compute node sizes from 4 to 64 cores, giving organizations the ability to align infrastructure closely with actual workload demand. A right-sized supporting services node is provisioned by default.
