What does your function as a QA Engineer at Notilyze look like? 
As a QA Engineer within the Software Development team you fulfill an essential role within the technical realization and maintenance of (web)applications, together with the team you are responsible for ensuring our products are free of defects, bugs and ensure that the quality levels are met. You are present during refinement sessions and priority meetings which allowed you to define testcases. Notilyze has multiple (dotNet) applications; that we deploy through an automated development pipeline. In addition you will fill your days with:

• Reviewing the quality specifications within an agile workprocess
• Creating test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing and coordinating the testing activities
• Defining and maintaining an automated test framework
• Creating and executing regression tests, both manually and automated
• Defining smoke test and assisting in their execution
• Documenting findings (bugs / possible improvements)
• Collaborating with other team members to keep the level of quality high
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments within our field

What do you bring? 
You have strong communicative skills and as such are able to collaborate well within an Agile team. You have the ability to distinguish between main and secondary issues and proactively contribute with new and innovative ideas. In addition we hope to find the following on your resumé:

• A completed education in the field of IT or sufficient relevant experience
• Depending on your level 0 up to 10+ years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of and experience with test automation
• Knowledge of and experience of the creating and execution of test cases (manual or otherwise)
• Strong analytical skills
• A healthy affinity with documenting processes
• A good command of the Dutch and English languages

The following would be a plus, however this can also be learned on the job:

• Knowledge of and experience of Selenium (or similar products)
• Knowledge of and experience of BrowserStack (or similar products)
• Knowledge of and experience with tools such as JIRA, Git, Confluence, TeamCity and Octopus
• General knowledge of the underlying technologies (dotNet, Javacsript, Relational database, etc.)
